1 – Is all Sitram aluminum cookware non-stick?

Yes, our aluminum products are coated with two layers of non-stick coating.

 

 

2 – How can I select one range for my kitchen?

You can call or email us and let us know the concept of your kitchen, member of your family who does the cooking, your food preference, etc. Our professional team is glad to recommend the most suitable range just for you.

 

 

3- Can I recoat a scratched non-stick pan?

No, the non-stick coating must be applied during the initial manufacturing process.

 

 

4- How do I use and care for stainless steel utensils?

Put water or food in the pan before you begin heating it and be sure to dry the pan after you finish using it. You will find more details in the USE & CARE section of this website.

 

 

5- What kind of spatula can I use for Sitram cookware?

All type of spatulas are suitable except for iron ones, which might break the coating layers.

 

 

6- How can I use a stainless steel pan for a long time without staining it?

When using stainless steel pans, please remember to wipe the bottom of the pan after each use so that no stain will be left on it.

 

 

7 - Can stains on the stainless steel pan be removed?

Yes, you may use a soft sponge and a little bleach to remove them.

 


8 – Is Sitram cookware oven and dishwasher safe?

Yes, except the pressure cookers which are not suitable for oven and dishwasher. Some products are not induction capable, but most of our products are oven and dishwasher safe.

 

 

9- What is the best way to clean a pan?

The pan must be cleaned each time after use with a soft sponge, which will be the easiest way to remove any oil that stays on the surface.

 

 

10 - Is it possible to cook without oil or fat?

Yes, cooking without oil or fat is fine; please feel free to choose our non-stick utensils.

 

 

11- What should I do if the pressure cooker does not seem to work?

This is normal for the first few minutes of heating. If this condition remains unchanged, then the heat should be turned up to the highest position.  If the quantity of liquid inside the pressure cooker is sufficient, you can always turn off the gas for a while and try again.
