Pork yakitori with pineapple and mustard

Method

  1. Cut the pork tenderloin into 1.5 cm (3/5 inch) cubes.
  2. Mix the mustards, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, and vinegar in a bowl.
  3. Add the meat and mix well, then place the meat in another bowl and set the remaining marinade aside.
  4. Cover the meat with plastic wrap and let marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Cut the yellow bell pepper and red onion into slices large enough to fit on skewers, and the pineapple into cubes.
  6. Thread the marinated pork, pineapple, onion, and yellow bell pepper onto your skewers.
  7. Grill the skewers in a pan or on the barbecue, brushing them with the remaining marinade as they cook.
  8. Serve with a salad. Enjoy!

  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 15 cl (5/8 cup) soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • Salt, pepper
